What I'm Loving Wednesday
/Each time I post a new WILW I swear I'm going to get more consistent with them; and then *poof* another month (or more) flies by! So, here's to trying to get back on track and sharing a little extra love with you guys today.
This mascara-
I've been using this for about 8 months or so now and really love it! A friend here in Ohio bought me my first tube after I had asked her about what brand she used. I've been hooked ever since! It doesn't clump up like previous brands I've used and definitely lasts throughout the day. I typically grab mine from Sephora, but I'm sure you can get it in any mall or through their website.
These pajama pants-
Let me just start by saying if you get these you won't want to wear anything else! SOFT does not even begin to describe them. I have the striped pair, but they also come in solid black. They are on sale 30% off right now at checkout!
This wallet-
After hunting for quite awhile for the perfect thin wallet, I finally stumbled upon this one on Amazon. It had great reviews so figured I'd give it a shot. When it came in the mail I was super surprised with the quality for the price. (It's SO cheap) Total win! I ordered the light gray and it's held up perfectly. I definitely don't fill up all the card slots, and typically don't carry tons of change so it's worked great for what I needed.
This hanger-
Best kept IKEA secret! We have a few of these little hangers and use them in different rooms of the house. We keep one in the entryway closet for scarves and purses and then one in the laundry room for air drying delicates and swimsuits. It could easily be used for jewelry or belts as well. At only $1.99 its a total steal!
This baked ziti recipe-
Totally not the healthiest dinner recipe ever, but definitely one of the most delicious! I love that this makes enough for a group or plenty of leftovers. It could easily be adapted for a make-ahead freezer meal as well. Bonus- we almost always have the ingredients on hand so it makes a great quick last minute dinner!
These tumblers-
Not sure if it's the fact that we have a toddler or what, but I am just not a fan of *glass* glasses. We have a few random mason jars but other than that, these are what we use. After reading some of the reviews about how they didn't survive the dishwasher we typically just handwash them (which totally doesn't bother me) They've held up great and we use them every.single.day!
This editing app-
Friends ask a lot how I edit my photos and this is my saving grace! I have the iPhone X which takes amazing pictures alone but then combined with this app it enhances them that much more. I typically just adjust the exposure/brightness and contrast, but there are so many fun filters and levels that you can change. Sometimes it's just fun to play around a bit! This is quick and easy which for this Mama was vital!
This journal-
I hesitated to even use the word 'journal' there because it's so much more than that! Write the Word journals encourage you to actually write out scripture, which for me helps in memorizing and putting it into practice. I always walk away feeling encouraged, and it is truly the best way to start or end my day. I ordered the 'cultivate renewal' one and am so in love. It's a go at your own pace or even skip around if you'd like. They leave space for you to write more underneath your scripture as well as have a line to write what you're grateful for each day too. I definitely recommend grabbing yourself one, or even scooping some up for gifts!
The weather here in Ohio has been crazy sporadic lately. We were under a tornado watch yesterday and right now we have snow flurries coming down. Needless to say, today looks like another day to stay inside and keep cozy!
