2019: A Year of Memories

It is hard for me to believe that we are already saying ‘goodbye’ to 2019, I honestly feel like time just keeps flying right by! I guess that’s what happens when you’re having fun!

We have definitely had some hard days this year, but overall 2019 is leaving us with grateful hearts! Our arms were finally filled with our sweet rainbow baby girl, Clara. We had some exciting firsts as a family of 4; including an overnight drive to visit all of the grandparents, a hot air balloon show, multiple hikes, and late family movie nights. Our little man turned FOUR!!! (And continued to melt our hearts) I started writing for the Dayton Mom Collective! We lost and added a fur member to the family. We discovered our favorite local frozen custard! (because what is your year if you haven’t tried a new dessert place, haha) And you best believe we soaked up every ounce of quality time we could along the way!

We were incredibly blessed to have my sweet friend, Katie, from Blink of an Eye Photography capture some photos for us as we bring this year to a close. I honestly had a hard time picking favorites, so prepare for an overload!

The older I get the more I realize that the greatest things in life aren’t things at all, but rather people and the memories we make with them along the way! I am not typically a resolution type person, but being more intentional with my time and energy is definitely something I am planning to do in 2020. Our time on this Earth is so precious, and what a waste it would be to spend it doing anything other than collecting sweet moments with the people we love most. That is exactly how I plan to spend my New Years, cuddled up with these people of mine!

Happy New Year, see you in 2020!!!
